As a nursing assistant you will be responsible for the fulfillment of basic requirements of the patients. Their requirements may include bathing, feeding and dressing. In those times the nursing assistant is the most important person a patient can get help from. You have to record the activities of the patients. The physician can ask you about the patient and his behavior or the reactions on medicines. So things you have observed in the patients will prove helpful in the diagnosis. It will help in preparing a new prescription. While you are in the field of nursing assistant, you will be acquainted with the variety of staff people from other medical fields as well. It will happen due the changes in the habits and requirements of your patients. You will be asked to take the patient to the X-Ray or to the operation theater for surgery. There will plenty of specialists who will check the patients and will be meeting you. When you will work with the emergency staff, you will come to know many initial technicalities. You will interact with variety of expert people. The interactions with them will help you in many situations with the patients in the future and help you to move further in your career as well.
